Character Creation Thread

The town is Rockville, a town located in northern America and more specificly in the state Minnesota. The town itself is not a small town, but still not a big one at that either. It is an average town, with average people and it is surrounded mainly by lakes and high hills as well as mountains. I would not call it isolated, but it is a little on the side. Still, this town has what both humans and teenagers need to survive. The local highschool Rockville High, as well as a shoppingmall, a movie theatre and a bunch of different entertainment types like the small, but local Zoo, a small waterpark, a beautiful lake called Lake Manole which allows both fishing, swimming and more. There is a camping site and many other things.

What is of greatest imoprtance though, is the highschool. The essence of future. The people of tomorrow. Asking the local teenagers, many dislike this school while there are those that actually have grown fond in it. It can provide top education, has obviously its own schoolteam and all the classes that the normal highschool provides and perhaps a little more.

Shiloh is fairly short, standing at 5'5. Her body is toned and athletic, and she has sandy blonde hair that falls just past her shoulders, naturally highlighted with platinum blonde streaks. Her eyes are an icy blue, and her skin is slightly sunkissed. She has a bit of a scene style to her, and is most often wearing jeans and a T shirt.
Personality:
Typical to a September Virgo, Shiloh is gentle, strong willed, and fairly quiet. She's very judgemental toward herself, and strives to be the best she can be, while if something displeases her, it takes effort not to drop it and ignore it all together. When one gets to know her, she's light hearted and funny. Always sincere, and incredibly loyal to those she considers friends.
Background:
Shiloh was born in Vorhees New Jersey on September 10th, 1989. At the age of 6, her mother was killed in a car accident, and her older brother Zach, who was 17, dissapeared from the two other family member's lives. Shiloh's father took the loss hard, but kept on his feet to support the family of two. Shiloh started riding horses at 8 years old to keep busy while her father was at work, and excelled greatly in it.

When she was 13, a representitive of Rockville college saw her riding in a show, and she was offered a partial scholarship if she continued her riding in a program associated with the school. she would be placed in Rockville highschool to ride in the Junior team until she was old enough to attend college.

After discussing it with her father, they agreed that it was the right thing to do, and Shiloh was sent to Rockville to live on Campus at the highschool, where she completed her freshmen,sophmore and junior years of highschool.

Currently she is just beggining her senior year at the school, and is very excited to be doing so.
Future plans:
She plans to attend Rockville college and compete with their riding team, and to go into pre-vet before moving onto a veterinary college. ( at this point, her years at Rockville College will be paid for for the most part )

Appearance/Physical Features: Brownish hair, big brown eyes and remote signs of a tan. She often preferes wearing her hair put up and she often use brown clothing to match her hair and eyes. She is not physically deprived, but she is not physically beneficial either. For a 15 year old, she is tall and has several other noticeable features that is often mostly paid attention to by boys. Thanks to her sister mocking her for being the youngest and her physical features making her appear older, she often either lies about her age or simply pretends being older and more mature than she is.

Personality: Leslie is a curious girl and very shy when it comes to people and places she does not know. Normally she is a very joyful girl with a great imagination and a great interest in physical activities. She is not very confident in herself though, due to the fact that both her brother and sister picks on her and makes fun of her for many different reasons. Leslie has a craving to fit in and to pretend being older than she is, which makes it very easy to talk her into things she as her sane self would not do.
Background: Leslie is from the southern parts of America but had to move north as her father had gotten a promition and had to move north. Rather than pending between two places for him, the whole family went with him. Leslie had to leave her school and go with the rest of the family despite her unwilling behaviour. She now enters a new school, a new world.
Future plans: Leslie has no set future plans. She wishes to be any type of artist, but in what area of expertise she does not know yet.

Talents/Strengths: A console gamer, strategist, and general fiction writer, Zeke is not the most populer guy with the girls. His strength is also his weakness as in he is not very physical, but this leaves him with spare time to write poetry and stories.

Zeke is 185cm's in height. He is slightly thin and athletic although he hates PE, his hair is dark blonde and medium length. His eyes are a grey blue. He wears various clothing.
Personality:
Is usually calm and mentally strong but can ofter blow out a small situation into something bigger although rarely. Likes the dark and fav time of day is night when the stars are showing and the air is crisp... peace.
Background:
Born in London and raised in a big town house he attended public school until he was about 16, when his dad died in a car-crash.

At that point his mother moved back to America to where her family were and she brought the family. He then attended high school for the first time and it was a new learning curve for him. His first day.
Future plans:
Wants to become a Games Designer or a Novelist but his old drama teacher had recommended that he could go far in a drama career such as acting or even singing.

Talents/Strengths: Izsak is well-known for his skills with a guitar. He is also quite the poet, and is known amongst his friends as the hopeless romantic of the group.

Relatives: Mother was Jeanette Blayne Anderson, Father was Alexxander Jakob Arlington; both are deceased.
Appearance/Physical Features:

Personality: Very cheerful, though he tends to apologize way too much for the little things, and is prone to being amused by the smallest things... Also tends to get lost in thought a lot...
Background: Izsak has a rare blood disorder in which he must occasionally receive transfusions from the local hospital, and has a handful of friends pay for it as birthday or Christmas gifts to him, also paying part himself from gigs with his band, Faust.
Future plans: Izsak would love to one day have a home of his own, become a world-renowned guitarist, and maybe own a cat.

Personality: Lionel is very quiet, shy and a loner. He preferes just to sit in a corner with his laptop and perhaps hang out with the few friends he have actually made trough the year.
Background: Lionel has grown up in Rockville and it has been one boring year after the other. He have upon the discovery of computer spent the majority of his time in front of it. Not to play games, but to educate himself in all kinds of areas. He use the computer for education, rather than entertainment. He loves learning things.
Future plans: Engineer of some sort if he's lucky.

thanks, Soridormi. i really didn't have to work all that hard to get him set up. Christie Lijewski writes an awesome story, so all i really did was just rip the character straight from it and change his bass to a guitar... well, and added a middle and last name, since he quite honestly can't remember a thing. (what was it Rail called him, "Mr. I Can't Remember Shit"?)

She does well in PE and Psychology, but her grades are razed in as good as all other courses. She have had to retake her final year once already and if she does not shapen up, might have to do so again.

Appearance/Physical Features:

Personality: Agressive, short fused and depressed. She likes being in center of attention, this primarly because she never gets any attention at home. Her father is an obsessed boxer/wrestler and whatnow he does and her mother is a bad tempered alcoholic. This makes Riley crave for as good as any type of attention and also makes her one of the "bad kids" of the school. The only respect she knows, is the one gained by fear and force, for that is the way she has learnt to respect her parents. She does have a soft side, but fear keeps that side away. As much as she would like this side to be shown more, she behaves the one and only way she knows well.
Background: Abusive parents, a regular visitor at psychologist, almost lives at the principal office at school and there are often trouble wherever she goes. This is not necessarily her fault, but some think that she has a magnetic aura for trouble. Her attitude alone has had her wind up in hospital a couple of times.
Future plans: She just hopes she will get trough it all in one piece

Personality:
Crazy, and a joy to be around. He's a party kid, and would much rather be out having a good time then be in school. Don't ge him wrong, he's smart, just doesn't care. He's outgoing, rebellious, and he protects his close friends with all of his heart. He is, though, rather mysterious about anything to do with himself. Don't expect to learn about his past lightly!

Background:
His mother and father divorced when he was four, and it turned into a bitter game of tug-o-war. Literally. Each had one hand, and pulled back and forth until the mother won. He never saw his father again, and at around nine is when things started to go wrong. September 11th(Assuming this is real-time?)threw his mother and himself into poverty, With nowhere to go, they were forced into the 'ghetto' and lived with a woman named Felicia. Alexander's mother got hooked on drugs, and Felicia beat him-and he three kids- savagely. At ten, Alexander was raped brutally by the eldest boy who was thirteen. After this, Alexander began to withdraw from everyone, and when his mother probed him, he simply grunted and locked himself away. When he was eleven, Alexander took up smoking-cigarettes and marijuana- and found the eased his pain. Alexander had a rather nasty achoholic phase, where he ended up in Rehab for a year.

Alexander ran away soon after he was released, and made his way from South Carolina to Florida over the course of three weeks. In Florida, Alexander saw his face plastered on ever street corner, and had to be discreet with whatever he did- but he wasn't discreet enough, and soon the cops were on his tail. While he was only thirteen, he'd played enough racing games to understand the basics of driving, and hijacked someone's car at a red light. He lost the cop's trail, and drove until he was out of gas, which landed him in Tennessee, where he was apprehended by waiting authoriies. After hearing his pleas of not wanting to go back to his mother, they put him in boarding school until he was seventeen, where he could live on his own. He moved to Rockville, MN, and began establishing a name for himself.

Future plans:
Alexander hopes to be a writer/actor, while minoring in Quantum Physics.

Personality: Banjamin is a cold and quiet teenager. He is in the 12th grade. Unlike many rich students, Banjamin shuns the lifestyle's that his Parents friends and their children have chosen. He was never very "laguna beach" or "abercrombie." In fact, he hates kids like that. Banjamin is a well known student, as his volatile behavior has gotten him into trouble more than a few times. He isn't an arrogant guy. He doesn't smoke. He doesn't frequent many parties, but does have a small group of friends that assist to his beck and call. Despite his dark nature, Banjamin is a natural leader. Even during senior year, Banjamin (or Ban as his friends call him normally) never clicked with his classmates. Above all things, he hates loud people and crowding. His name was supposed to be Benjamin, but due to a hospital typo, his legal name is Banjamin. He shortened his name to Ban when he decided that saying Banjamin was bothersome.

Background: Banjamin came to Rockville for freshman year. His parents had moved there when they began making alot of money. Ban didn't really care. He wouldn't miss his classmates from before, he'd rather read a book than socialize with those kids. But when he came to rockville, things became a little different. During his freshman year, Ban met a girl. Being the stoic person he is, Ban watched her from afar, since she had a boyfriend. One day, he saw that the two were having a fight, in which the boy was viciously yelling and insulting the girl. Angrily, Ban approached the boy. Without a word, Ban began beating the boy, while the girl watched helplessly. Eventually, she intervened, and slapped Ban to stop. Clearly hurt. Ban left the scene, and never cared for another girl again.

The beating gained him notoriety among the troubled kids of the school. They looked up to Ban for his good grades and cash, but were surprised when they found out how angry and violent he could become. He was their leader. And they would do as he said. Sometimes, the small group of delinquents would come up with some scam, but often Ban would tell them it was a stupid idea, or find something better to do. He was quite a character. However, Ban never talked bad about a girl. He hated womanizers, and his gang could never really find out why.

Sophomore year, Ban's clique were surprised when Ban had tryed out for the Tennis team and made it as a regular singles competitor. His natural talent gained him even more notoriety. And Ban soon grew out of his small group of bad kids. Now, he's more of a solo guy...

Quiet, shy. He can initiate conversations, but most of the time he listens rather than talks. He never backs down from a challenge. Has an extreme sense of pride, and takes offense to even the smallest stabs at it.

Background:
Aubrey has been through some hard times in his life, but he doesn't let that get him down. He strives to be more than some whiny kid without parents, and make something of himself.
His quiet nature has kept everyone from his past. He's the new kid at Rockville High, so show the kid some love, eh?

Personality: You will likely not find any not mute more silent than this girl. She is a visiting student from Germany and have never had the chance to learn the English language properly. She often lets her hand, physical hinting and other people do the talking for her if ever necessary. Mostly she just shut up and go with the crowd.
Background: As a young child, Sami Wunderlich was quite the impressive child. She was for a baby very smart and that behavior continued as she grew. Sami was a happy child and has continued to be so as she grew up. Being the one child in the family she was also given everything she ever wanted. She was a spoiled girl but never used that fact to her advantage. She could get anything she wanted but prefered earning it herself.

She was a top student in the german schools. A few years after she then graduated, she was taken to America to learn about the english language and the culture. She hoped to one day become a teacher and she was given a passing card which allowed to participate in any class she desired at set location in set school, this being Rockville High. Some would call her a teacher apprentice, but the teachers are ordered not to push any points. She is in the school mainly to observe America and the english language as well as the way of teaching, and not being actually taught by anyone. Although her incapability to understand most, if not all of the english language complicate things.
